The Bulletin

The Bulletin is produced by Murtaza Haider and Stephen Moranis. Haider is a professor of real estate economics at Ryerson University and the author of Getting Started with Data Science: Making Sense of Data with Analytics. Haider is a former journalist and writes occasionally for the Huffington Post.  He has written for The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, and The Montreal Gazette. Moranis is a consummate real estate professional with decades of experience and leadership in the real estate industry. He is a former president of the Toronto Real Estate Board. Moranis is a sought after commentator on property markets.

Together, Haider and Moranis analyze real market trends and produce lucid commentary based on data and years of experience in property markets. Their commentary takes inspiration from the Becker-Posner blog where Gary Becker (a Nobel Laureate) and Richard Posner collaborated to offer informed and lucid commentary on socio-economics.

The distinguishing feature of the Haider-Moranis Bulletin is its reliance on data and analytics. By analyzing real estate sales data from across Canada, the Bulletin is based on analytics instead of conjecture.
